UK Sub Contractor Rates of Pay for 2011 - UK Construction Industry
The rates below are those directly paid to individual sub-contractors and should not be confused with daywork rates.
The difference between the above rates and daywork rates - explained belowFor example if a company has a turnover of £8.3 million and have a direct labour force of 100 with 33 sub contractors on top of that, with a head office staff of 30 it can be seen as such that an approx. breakdown of their costs, that would be used to build-up their daywork rate, would be;-
